Whether you enjoyed his writing style or not, no one can deny the incredible amount of coverage Ziegler gave to local acts who had yet to really gain any ground in the print press world…Cold War Kids anyone?
The man generally has good taste and really pounded the pavement checking out local and underground bands and events.
It will interesting to see what happens with the OC Weekly’s music coverage, hopefully whoever steps in doesn’t follow Kate Sullivan’s lead at sister publication, the LA Weekly.
