This is good chance to go check out Grand Ole Party tonight at The Roxy on someone else’s dime. Originally scheduled to headline tonight, Pop Levi, has canceled, so Filter Magazine is making admission to the show tonight free. Grand Ole Party recently announced that they will be touring this Fall with Rilo Kiley and their debut album Humanimals will be released in September via 405 Records. Grand Ole Party and Rilo Kiley are more than just upcoming tourmates, it was Blake Sennett who found the band and brought them to 3d Management and it is he who also produced Humanimals. Check out 2 songs from the upcoming release on the band’s MySpace page, I’m really digging “Nasty Habits”.
Also playing tonight are The Shys and The Procession, oh and there are hosted Red Bull/Vodka’s from 8:30 to 9:30pm. What else do you need?
