The District Weekly’s “Best of Long Beach”

So The District Weekly’s inaugural “Best Of Long Beach” issue came out this week and we got a little plug, though I suspect it’s ’cause as far as I know there aren’t any other Long Beach bloggers covering the local music scene, but hey I’m not one to sneeze at the possibility of some more readers without whoring myself out or reposting press releases, so thanks Chris. You can read the issue online, but really should pick up the physical paper at a local business that’s smart enough to distribute it or find it in one their brand new street boxes (I just noticed them on 2nd street this week).

Also The District threw a bash with Cavil At Rest and On Blast at Smooth’s on Wednesday to celebrate the issue, but I spaced out and thought it was on Thursday, so I ended up missing it.
