Forget that this show is at King King and that it’s a Vice sponsored event that’s sole purpose is to shill shitty booze, NYC’s Cheeseburger rarely play in Los Angeles and are definitely worth braving this scene to be seen live. Also on the bill are the recent San Diego to Los Angeles transplants, The Muslims, and JAX Art darlings, Mezzanine Owls.
Check out the new Cheeseburger song “Jelly Bean” from their forthcoming Kemado Records lp, it’s alright, but not nearly as good as anything off of their self-titled release, whose radio announcer interludes alone merit the purchase of the album.
