Long Beach’s The Valley Arena will release their third full length album, We Died, on May 21st on the local label, JAXART Records.
The full length release of We Died is being released as a 3-song 7″ single featuring “Bait & Switch” & “Grayscale” and the exclusive B-side, a remix of “SOS4XOX” by Ikey Owens (Mars Volta, Free Moral Agents, Look Daggers), that comes with a digital download card for the entire album (10 songs). So buy the 7″ and get the whole album digitally, or just by the whole album digitally through iTunes or eMusic.
We Died was recorded by Jason Cupp and completed in just eight days. This was the first time The Valley Arena recorded as a three piece and definitely marks an expansion in their Fugazi-meets-Hot Snakes sound that they had cultivated over their last two last two albums. For a taste of the expanded sound, check out the first two tracks on We Died, “The Dig” and “Grayscale”.
