News Bytes TwitterWent to the Avalong Bar/Mower Shop for the Briefs, Smiling Face Down, and Geisha Girls show in the Mower Shop. The Mower Shop was exactly what I expected it to be, a gutted building with some art on the fresh painted walls and large outside area in the back. I guess the guy who owns the Avalon Bar, a relatively new bar itself, bought the building that used to be a real lawn mower repair shop and plans on turning it into a art/performance space. I actually only caught the Geisha Girls performance cause my friend Ryan and I had got there early which means we started to drink early and after a while couldn’t hang any longer.
And also I will be seeing The Briefs this Friday in Vegas at Punk Rock Bowling with The Swinging Utters and Riverboat Gamblers.
